Privacy Policy

Wheel of Chance · Last updated: 11 October 2026

In short

Wheel of Chance is designed to respect your privacy. The app has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. The names you enter and your settings stay on your device. The app connects to our servers only to find out which skins are available and to download the ones you choose; nothing you enter is ever sent.

Information we collect

Wheel of Chance does not collect or receive your personal data.

The app does not require you to create an account or sign in, and it does not include analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or any other tracking technology.

Our servers only deliver the list of available skins and the skin files themselves. They do not receive your names, your settings, your purchases, or any identifier for you or your device.

Information stored on your device

The app stores a small amount of information locally on your device using your browser's or the app's local storage. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

This includes:

You can delete this information at any time:

In-app purchases

Optional purchases are processed entirely by your app store: Google Play Billing on Android, the App Store on iPhone.

Your payment information is handled by Google or Apple and is never shared with us. The app only receives confirmation that a purchase was completed and stores that unlock status locally on your device.

Their handling of payment information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.

Network connections

The app goes online for the following purposes only:

These requests contain no names, settings, or identifiers. Our servers are hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, necessarily sees the IP address of the device making a request in order to answer it. We do not store or use these addresses. Cloudflare processes them under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content

Some text, graphics, or other content in Wheel of Chance was created or refined with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools during the development of the app.

The app does not use AI to process your data or your entries. Nothing you enter into the wheel is sent to any AI service.

Children's privacy

Wheel of Chance is suitable for general audiences, including children.

The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or from any other users.

Some skins let you enter or import a list of people, such as a teacher's class. Those names are kept only on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Permissions

The Android app requests only the Internet permission, for the connections described above. The iPhone app requests no permission at all.

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files, or any other personal information.

In skins built around a group, you can import a list of names from a file or a photo, such as a class list. You pick the file or photo yourself through your device's standard picker, which gives the app access to that one item only. On Android, a photo is read on your device by Google's ML Kit text recognition, provided by Google Play services; neither the image nor the names it contains are sent to us. The iPhone app imports from files only. A photo taken from within the app is deleted from your device as soon as it has been read; a photo you pick from your gallery is left where it was.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, the updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
